| [Yamanami is seemingly talking to himself, unaware that he's being recorded] I still don't agree with the allocation of funds for the prom, we're spending more on one night than some clubs will be getting in an entire year. It seems unfair to penalise groups because they aren't the most popular out there. I suppose I'll just have to bring it up in the next meeting. | |
| Has it really been almost a year? Sometimes it feels like I've been here a lot longer than that, but I still can't quite believe it's been that long either. | |
| All this propaganda designed to get children to go to war. I wonder if they really know what they're doing? | |
| [Welcome to the Shinsengumi family funtime hour. Souji and Sano are both busy building snowmen with Kondou's help, while Hijikata is... well, lets not think about what Hijikata might be doing, it's probably best that way. A little back from them all, closer to the camera and to one side of the image is Yamanami, playing mother and making sure that no one gets hurt. He's also, though it's a bit harder to see, preparing to start their daily fire.
All is peaceful until Hijikata decides that, if they're going to act like kids then they're going to act like boys damnit, and tackles Kondou. What happens next is hidden as Yamanami gets to his feet and turns to the camera with a long suffering expression, reaching to turn it off amid cries of "Hijikata-san!" and "Toshi-san".]
I suppose it was too much to hope that they could behave themselves for just one day.
OOC: Sano, Kondou and Souji appear with the permission of Ket and Andy. And, uh, imagine I didn't fail and posted this on Friday or something?
| [Yamanami, currently in the form of a common seal, is lunging on the shore, just within reach of the waves and some distance from the recorder to avoid getting it wet]
I have to say, I don't find this curse anywhere near as troublesome as many of the others. It seems many people are enjoying themselves so far, and I can only hope nothing happens to change that, after the last curse I think everyone deserves a break.
Can I ask anyone who isn't cursed to keep an eye on my cat though?
| I'm sure it's a terrible thing to think, but it makes a pleasant change to have some quiet around here. Especially since Kondou-san is still here too, and Hijikata-kun is keeping to himself. I would worry about those affected this time, but the majority are perfectly capable of looking after themselves, and worrying myself about them won't do anyone any good. | |
| [Yamanami is curled up on one of the beds, looking about as disgruntled as a tiny, adorable fox can, on the bed opposite him is a mass of hissing purple fur. The kitten isn't very impressed with his animal form and making it very clear.]
Well, this is inconvenient.
| One day Kondou-san will learn to act in a manner appropriate to his station. I hope. | |
| [quiet, tired sigh, coupled with soft purring] Sometimes I think keeping out of the way of cursed residents is more stressful than being one. I get no enjoyment from watching others act like idiots. | |
